Clinical Presentation : 15 year Old male presented with mild intermittent abdominal pain , more so after meals.

Whirlpool : Mesentery and Superior mesenteric Vein whirls around Superior mesenteric Artery (SMA).

Diagnosis - Malrotation with Midgut Volvulus

Wimberger's sign is used to describe radiological findings :

1. In Congenital Syphilis - It is b/l and focal distruction of the medial aspect of the proximal tibial metaphyses. (Pathagnomonic for Congenital Syphilis)

2. In Scurvy - It is relatively dense white line representing circular calcification around osteopenic epiphysis. (better termed as
Wimberger's ring sign )
